Sensorimotor training
Sensorimotor training, or reflex control, is about bringing the nervous system into balance
An imbalanced state of the nervous system can appear, for example
as restlessness
as an inability to relax (head goes into overdrive)
as pain states of the body
as difficulties in interaction situations
as difficulty in learning due to lack of concentration
as motor and balance puzzles
The constant overstimulation of the nervous system also affects motivation and stress tolerance. An unbalanced nervous system often reacts excessively to even small events.
All of these unnecessarily burden your everyday life. In sensorimotor training, we can improve the cooperation of the brain, vessels and nervous system by dismantling useless movement patterns and stuck reflexes.
In the initial mapping of sensorimotor training, I get a picture of the functionality of your nervous system and possible imbalances in it with the help of simple movements.
Based on the initial survey, you will receive exercises tailored just for you to balance the nervous system at home.
All the exercises and treatments used are designed in such a way that they support the building of your neural network forward in the part where its building stopped in childhood.
This is how you find your true strengths and your own, authentic self
Who can benefit from sensorimotor training?
Children
Does your child have problems concentrating?
Learning or reading disorders?
Hypersensitivity of hearing or sensitivity of feeling (waist of clothes, seams, patches)?
Is exercise difficult, is the balance lost?
The things mentioned above can speak of reflex remnants that make it difficult for the nervous system and the brain to cooperate. These can be affected by sensorimotor training.
Young people
The incomplete nervous system has difficulty coping with stress and the pressures of school and social life. This can manifest as behavioral challenges, memory problems, time management and concentration difficulties.
A young person can also worry and fear too much.
Tenderness and lack of motivation can also improve with sensorimotor training.
Adults
By reducing the body's internal stress load, external pressures do not seem as overwhelming.
When you learn to know yourself, your understanding of others also grows.
That way, being different is no longer scary.
When your own nervous system can calm down with the help of sensorimotor training, you will use more energy for other things besides work.
Feeling good and satisfied, as well as being able to cope with everyday life, increase.
What happens in sensorimotor training?
Initial mapping
After making an appointment, we will meet in my treatment room. Come to the meeting in comfortable clothes in which you feel good to be and move.
I'll ask you about your challenges and we'll go through the things I need to know before starting.
Under my guidance, you make easy movements, which help me figure out the total load on your nervous system.
Reflex mapping
After this, I move on to map the reflexes one by one. This is done either lying on the treatment table, sitting in a chair or standing.
During the meeting, some reflexes may already be treated and you will receive advice and guidance on making movements.
Home instructions
After the meeting, I will email you a summary of the possible reflex models that you still have active or are completely missing.
You will always receive detailed instructions designed for your needs, with which you can start unloading your reflex load.
Between meetings
Before the follow-up visit, after about 4-6 weeks, you will work according to your own knowledge and ability.
I am always available by email or message if you have any questions about the exercises or want to share your own observations about the state of your nervous system.
